In the interview conducted by Günter Mey, Harald Welzer explores the challenges of academic psychology in light of current social debates and maps the possibilities and limits of science and research, both in terms of organization and science communication, including an assessment of the potential of the performative social science approach. Harald Welzer argues that universities and academic institutions should return to their core business of a research habitus based on the maxim of freedom, regardless of the temptations of popular views of science.Downloads
