Alfred Adler and the First World War
Keywords:
Alfred Adler, World War I, Individual psychology, psychiatry, pacifismAbstract
After the First World War, Alfred Adler was a spiteful critic of this war and he connected his pacifist position with his individualpsychological theory. This is demonstrated in the present article, additionally it is shown that Adler had changed his position. He advocated an ambivalent attitude toward the war and toward his duty as a military psychiatrist. New issues of research are presented to these questions.Downloads
