A theoretical framework for a complex model of job satisfaction – A theoretical meta-analysis
Keywords:
job satisfaction, work satisfaction, grade of satisfaction, quality of satisfaction, emotion, constructivismAbstract
The main criticism against all existing methods for measuring and theoretical models for describing job satisfaction is the missing subjectivism, the complexity of the individual, as well as of the situation. Thus, the development of a new complex model of job satisfaction (CMJS/KMA) is introduced which is focused on this criticism. All of the important results of the research about job satisfaction have been integrated. The degree of satisfaction, the quality of satisfaction, and the individual preferences in regard to the situation are integrated. Based on this, the general action as well as the action in regard to specific situational aspects can be described. Lawler (1968), Smith & Hulin (1969), Neuberger (1976), and Bruggemann, Großkurth & Ulich (1975) have been recognized, as well as the leading works of Gebert (1979), Borg (1986; 1988), Büssing (1991), Judge, Locke & Durham (1997), and Jiménez (2000).Downloads
